Innovation & Product Development

Great products start with a clear strategy: who the product is for, what it must cost, how it will be made and why it will win. We combine innovative thinking with commercial discipline, then apply Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFM/DFA) from the first sketch, so your product is easier to build, cheaper to produce and faster to market.

We specialise in electro-mechanical products, where mechanics, electronics and firmware must work together. We work as an extension of your team, from innovation workshops and concept validation to product roadmaps, detailed engineering, tooling and production launch. One accountable team, with you in control of every decision.

  • Leadership teams who need a clear product strategy and roadmap for growth
  • OEMs and start-ups turning new ideas into manufacturable products
  • Businesses re-engineering existing products to compete on cost, performance or sustainability
How it works

Strategic product development stage-gate process.

Every engagement follows a clear, staged process with defined decision gates, so you always know where your project stands and what happens next.

Outcomes

What changes for your business.

Ideas that reach market

Concepts validated early, so investment goes into products customers want.

Profitable by design

Target cost, part count and manufacturing route set before tooling is committed.

Faster, safer launches

Fewer design loops, documented risks and suppliers ready to produce at volume.

FAQ

Strategic Product Development: common questions.

What is DFM and why does it matter?

Design for Manufacture (DFM) shapes a product around how it will actually be made: wall thickness, draft, tolerances, part count and assembly sequence. Applied early, it prevents expensive tool modifications and quality problems after launch.

Can you work with our existing CAD files?

Yes. We work natively in SolidWorks and Creo and accept STEP, IGES and Parasolid files from Siemens NX, CATIA, Inventor and Fusion 360.

Do you sign NDAs before we share a product idea?

Always. We sign a mutual NDA before any confidential information is shared, and all design IP created for you belongs to you.

Typical project scope

8–24 weeks from concept to production release, or a focused 2–4 week DFM review of an existing design.

Every engagement starts with a free consultation and a fixed-scope proposal with clear deliverables, timing and success measures.
