Manufacturing Excellence

Lean manufacturing removes the activities your customers do not pay for: waiting, excess inventory, unnecessary movement, overproduction and rework. We start with a value stream map of your real process, then design and implement the flow, pull and visual systems that make waste visible and easy to eliminate.

Our lean consultants coach your leaders and teams at the gemba, so the new way of working becomes the normal way of working.

  • Manufacturers with long lead times, high WIP or frequent expediting
  • Businesses starting a lean journey that need a clear, practical roadmap
  • Sites whose earlier lean efforts have stalled and need a reset
How it works

Lean transformation flow.

Every engagement follows a clear, staged process with defined decision gates, so you always know where your project stands and what happens next.

FAQ

LEAN Manufacturing: common questions.

What is the difference between Lean and Six Sigma?

Lean focuses on speed and flow by removing waste. Six Sigma focuses on quality by reducing variation. Most organisations benefit from both, which is why we also offer combined Lean Six Sigma programs.

Does lean work for high-mix, low-volume manufacturing?

Yes. The tools are adapted, for example using product families, CONWIP and quick changeover, but the principles apply to job shops just as well as high-volume lines.

Typical project scope

Value stream assessment in 1–2 weeks; lean implementation programs over 3–12 months.

Every engagement starts with a free consultation and a fixed-scope proposal with clear deliverables, timing and success measures.
