Confidentiality Policy
Our clients trust us with product designs, drawings, process data, supplier information and commercial details. Protecting that information is central to how we work. This policy sets out our commitments.
Our commitment
All information you share with us for an enquiry or project is treated as confidential, whether or not it is marked confidential, and is used only for the purpose of providing our services to you.
Non-disclosure agreements
- We sign a mutual NDA on request before any confidential information is shared.
- Our standard project terms include confidentiality obligations that survive the end of the engagement.
- We will not disclose your involvement with Polycon, or use your name or logo, without your written permission.
People and suppliers
- All Polycon staff and associates are bound by written confidentiality obligations.
- Information is shared internally only with people who need it to deliver your project.
- Where we work with your suppliers, such as toolmakers or moulders, we share only the information needed for that task and with your approval.
Intellectual property
Designs, drawings, reports and other deliverables created for you belong to you once our fees are paid, unless we agree otherwise in writing. We do not reuse your designs or confidential data for other clients.
Handling of files
- Client files are stored on secure, access-controlled cloud platforms.
- We use encrypted transfer for drawings and data, and can work within your own secure systems on request.
- We do not enter client confidential information into public AI tools.
- At the end of a project, we return or securely delete confidential material on request, keeping only what we must retain for legal or insurance purposes.
Breaches
If we become aware of any unauthorised access to or disclosure of your confidential information, we will notify you promptly and work with you to contain and remedy it.
